Can you tell what my favourite colour is?

..it shouldn’t be too hard to figure out from these pics. [Tumblr needs me to ask a question in the title so that people can comment on my ramblings, so I’ll keep my 2.5 readers on their toes with the questions from now on]

Now, on to more serious matters, spring has finally arrived in Amsterdam and it was worth the wait! This is what I’m wearing:



blazer: thrifted, top: olsen (not the sisters!) -my mom’s, belt: my dad’s, jeans: massimo dutti, shoes: oysho, bag (background): just campagne -also my mom’s from ages ago

I’m so excited to be able to wear things like this, and as much as I love my coat, I don’t miss it one bit!




Now, it is my belief that every girl can find the perfect black blazer -mine is boyfriend-fit and has pockets-, simply because there are so many out there! You don’t even need to go to normal shops and spend a lot of money, try your luck at the local thrift shop or, if you live in Amsterdam, Ijhallen (I found this one there for two euros!). After you have your blazer, you can always make it perfect by tweaking little things. I took out the shoulderpads (a 10 minute job) and I’m thinking of replacing the black plastic buttons for nicer ones.  And you can always sling a blazer nonchalantly on your shoulders! Another point: I’ve been cuffing my jeans like crazy. I think it’s the perfect spring update -I don’t want to actually wear shorts just yet!- and it shows off your pretty ankles.



Oh yeah, and let’s not forget the fantastic, fabulous shoes







Finally, it was national wear-all-the-jewelery-you-own day in my world, so I wore my silver hoops and ALL of my rings. There! Enjoy the hipster-style pictures.
